Terms of Service
Using CityMobee means you agree to the terms below. We have kept the language plain, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
1. What this platform is
CityMobee gathers seven parts of city life — eating, shopping, staying, getting around, learning, leisure and travel — in one place. We provide information and introductions: you find a place, send a booking request, join a meetup. We are not a travel agency, not a hotel booking company, and not a payment institution.
2. We never handle your money
Bookings, room requests and sign-ups sent through this site are requests, not orders. The merchant confirms or declines them, and you pay the merchant directly on site. CityMobee collects nothing, takes no commission, issues no refunds, and does not step into disputes between you and a merchant.
3. When a booking counts
A request starts as pending. Only when the merchant confirms it does it take a slot on the calendar and trigger a confirmation email. Until then the slot is still open to others. A declined or unanswered request forms no contract.
4. One kind of membership
There is a single consumer membership. It is free and everyone gets the same features. We do not sell priority seating or priority sign-up, because that would push the people who arrived first to the back of the queue. Registration requires an email address, a country and a phone number, plus email verification.
5. Merchant accounts and fees
A merchant account itself is free. One membership runs one store; each store costs NT$660 per month, or NT$6,732 per year (15% off). Opening a branch counts as another store and needs its own fee. The products inside a store are unlimited: however many room types or dishes you list, the fee does not change. Fees are collected through ECPay or PayPal; we never see your card number.
6. What merchants owe
Merchants must keep address, opening hours, prices and availability accurate, and must honour the bookings they have confirmed. Repeated no-shows or false listings lead to the item being removed, with no refund of fees already paid.
7. What you may and may not do
Do not post false, infringing, discriminatory or unlawful content. Do not scrape the site in bulk with automated tools. Do not book or sign up under somebody else identity.
8. Content and intellectual property
Content you upload stays yours, but you grant us the right to display it on this site and in its promotion. The interface, the code and the curated data belong to CityMobee.
9. No warranty
Place data comes from merchants and from public sources. We check it — every address on this site has been verified against a mapping service — but we cannot guarantee it is always right. Transactions between you and a merchant are between the two of you.
10. Ending it
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account or remove a store if these terms are broken.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
12. Changes
We update the date on this page whenever the terms change. Material changes affecting your rights are emailed to members.
