Moon Round Forest Recreation Area. In the upper reaches of Dabai Creek in Sanxia, on a tributary called Mingchi Creek, lies a beautiful haven with waterfalls, ecology, and maple leaves: Manjuan Circle. In the upper reaches of the Dabai Stream in Sanxia, a tributary called the Midge Stream is home to a beautiful little paradise with waterfalls, ecology, and maple leaves: the Manzhou Circular National Forest Recreation Area. The Manzhou Circular National Forest Recreation Area, about 40 minutes from Sanxia City, has an elevation of 300 to 1,700 meters, with a humid and cool climate year-round, giving birth to a rich fern ecology, including the rare "wheel fern". In the past, there was small-scale logging here, and today's neatly arranged artificial forest bears witness to that era. The area is home to a rich variety of bird, amphibian, and butterfly species, such as the rare White-throated Laughingthrush and the Red-bellied Tit, which are the important bird stars of Manzhou Circular. Every year around December, the maple leaves here are breathtakingly beautiful, earning the reputation of "Taiwan's most beautiful low-altitude maple leaves". The Manzhou Circular Waterfall and the Maiden Waterfall, located at the end of the hiking trail, are also two major scenic spots in the recreation area. Looking from the Manzhou Small Bridge, you can see a large stone wall over 10 meters high blocking the upper part of the Manzhou Circular Waterfall, with the waterfall rushing down, its momentum extremely magnificent. The Maiden Waterfall is more gentle and elegant, and on sunny days, the light and shadow on the waterfall change and refract, often creating a colorful and gorgeous rainbow effect.
