Wuling National Forest Recreation Area. Deep within the Wuling Farm, the maple, pine forest, waterfalls, and Taiwan cherry salmon have composed a forest song, which is the most impressive part of the Wuling National Forest Recreation Area. Deep within the Wuling Farm, the symphony of maple leaves, pine forests, waterfalls, and Taiwan cherry salmon creates an impressive image of the Wuling National Forest Recreation Area. As the third national forest recreation area in Taiwan, it is about a four-hour drive from Taipei, with an elevation of approximately 1,800 meters, but the high mountain cold air makes it very chilly. The most representative scenic spot in the area is the Taoshan Waterfall Trail, where the quiet two-needle pine forest and rich forest ecology are notable features, and Taiwan macaques, Swinhoe's pheasants, blue-bellied rollers, and red-headed grosbeaks are common visitors. The trail ends at the magnificent Taoshan Waterfall, which is breathtaking and releases plenty of negative ions to heal travelers' minds. On the Wuling Suspension Bridge, you can also observe the national treasure fish, Taiwan cherry salmon, in the Qi-Jia-Wan Stream.
