The Owandah Nature Education Center is located within the Owandah National Forest Recreation Area, which features a narrow valley landscape and is a confluence of multiple streams, surrounded by mountains on all sides. The area is renowned for its beauty in all four seasons, with "spring cherry blossoms, summer waterfalls, autumn moon, and winter maple leaves." It is also an ideal habitat for wildlife. The Owandah Suspension Bridge offers a panoramic view of the valley and the Nanhubei Peak, making it the best spot in the park for taking in the scenery.
