Bashian Mountain Nature Education Center. The Baishanshan Natural Education Center is located within the Baishanshan National Forest Recreation Area in Taichung City, near the Guguan hot spring area. The Baishatun Natural Education Center is located within the Baishatun National Forest Recreation Area in Taichung City, near the hot spring resort of Guguan. This area was once one of Taiwan's three major lumber mills, boasting a rich history of forestry and diverse forest ecology. Today, this vast mountain forest not only preserves the footprints of the past but has also become an ideal destination for exploring nature, waiting for you to discover and experience. As the base for the Forestry Bureau's promotion of forest environmental education in central Taiwan, the Baishatun Natural Education Center actively promotes forest management, ecological conservation, local cultural heritage, and close collaboration with local communities and indigenous partners. Through a variety of courses, students and the general public can immerse themselves in the joy of learning, embarking on a wonderful journey of "exploring" the forest, cultivating a sense of "caring" for the earth, and participating in environmental conservation through practical actions, contributing to a better future for the earth.
