Fire Mountain Ecological Education Center. Firefly Mountain Ecological Education Center is a three-story above ground and two-story below ground landscape building, regardless of its exterior appearance or interior design, both of which are unique to Firefly Mountain. The Fire Mountain Ecological Education Center is a three-story building with two underground floors, a landscape architecture that takes into account the unique natural features of Fire Mountain. The Fire Mountain Ecological Education Center is located in Sanhe Township, Miaoli County, and was opened on April 16, 2005. It is a rare indoor and outdoor educational area in Taiwan that focuses on natural landscapes. The purpose of establishing the center is to make it an important environmental education area in the country. The center is adjacent to the Fire Mountain Natural Reserve in Miaoli's Sanhe Township. In June 2020, it became an environmental education certification site, and in 2023, it was recognized as an "excellent" environmental education facility by the National Center for Education Research. It serves as an important platform for conservation promotion in the Miaoli area.
