Huang Chun-hsien's Six-Road Big House. Huang Xuanxian was born in the mid-Qianlong era, his father was an official serving as a Hanlin Academy compiler, and later generations of his descendants did business in Southeast Asia and also achieved great success. The Huang residence is a five-section Minnan-style building with left and right wing-rooms, known as a six-route large residence. The front and back roofs are connected with a dragon and swallowtail ridge and a hard mountain horseback, the facade is decorated with intricate wood carvings, and the water carriage beam is adorned with colorful paintings and cutouts of good fortune, prosperity, flowers, and birds, all showcasing the wealth and glory of the hometown and the emotions of the ancestors.
