Ching Dynasty General Garrison Headquarters of Jincheng, Kinmen. The site of the Qing-era Jinmen Town General Garrison Command was originally the "Congqing Hall", which is said to be the place where the Ming dynasty scholar Xu Xie, who passed the imperial examination in the Wanli era (1601), studied, and during the Kangxi era. The site of the Qing-era Jincheng Town Garrison Commander's Office was originally the "Congqing Hall", which is said to be the place where the Ming dynasty's Wanli period (1601) scholar Xu Xiong read books. During the Kangxi period, Commander Chen Long considered that the old Jincheng City had experienced many wars at the end of the Ming dynasty, and the population of Houpu was thriving, so he relocated the Garrison Commander's Office to this place. After several renovations, it became the current scale, and until 1915, when Kinmen was established as a county, the Garrison Commander's Office was still the highest administrative center, going through Kinmen County Office, Kinmen County Government, Administrative Office, Kinmen Defense Command, and so on. Now it is a classic tourist attraction in Kinmen and one of the county's designated historic sites.
