The field exhibits the special features of Kinmen's salt industry and the role of salt in the daily lives of Kinmen residents with rich illustrations and texts. In addition, there are two important inscriptions in the park, namely the "Qing Dynasty Huizhou Salt Field Commissioner Han Cong's Merit Stele" and the "Yong'an Bridge Stele", which testify to the development of Kinmen's salt industry and the importance of Xiyuan as a salt production site.
