Inside the pavilion stands a marble stele, with the front inscribed with Mr. Zong Xiaochen's writing: "Military Spiritual Education" from the teachings of the Father of the Nation. The back is inscribed with Mr. Zhang Mojun's self-praise: "Confucius said to achieve benevolence, Mencius said to uphold righteousness; only when righteousness is fulfilled, benevolence is achieved. What is learned from reading the books of sages? From now on, perhaps there will be no shame." This explains the meaning behind the naming of Wukui Pavilion.
