Jhushan is located in the southwest of Kinmen Island, at the starting point of the Ring Island West Road. This is a single-surname settlement of the Xue family, whose ancestors came from Xue Ling in Xiamen during the Yuan dynasty and have been living here for 650 years. The first impression of entering the Jhushan settlement is the clear and beautiful colors. The settlement is surrounded by high ground on all sides, with a large pond in the center, forming a "four waters returning to the pond" feng shui treasure trove. The entire settlement is centered around the ancestral hall and expands to both sides, surrounding the large pond. The ancient brick walls with their reddish-brown color and the clear green pond water complement each other, creating a beautiful scene. Walking in Jhushan Park and looking into the distance, or quietly admiring the brick carvings and Koji pottery art on the old houses, are all the exciting experiences that Jhushan settlement has to offer.
