Beishan Old Western-Style House. Beishan Old Western-style House was built by three brothers from Guningtou, Lee Jin-yu, Lee Yan-ya, and Lee Tian-zhu, who made a fortune operating a coconut trade in Manila, Philippines, and in the 19. The Beishan Western-style Old House was built by three brothers from Kinmen, Lee Jin-yu, Lee Yan-ya, and Lee Tian-zhu, who made a fortune operating a coconut trade in Manila, Philippines, and returned to their hometown in Beishan in 1928 to build a two-story house for their mother. Later, in 1937, they built a two-story Western-style house with the help of Master Nan'an from mainland China and local Kinmen craftsmen and artisans, including Lee Yan-tou.
