Chang Wen-ti Western-style House. Founder Chang Wen-ti, born in the 23rd year of the Guangxu reign (1897), passed away in 1987. His father, Chang Kuei-hsiang, went to Nan in the 26th year of the Guangxu reign (1900). Founder Zhang Wendi was born in 1897 during the Qing Dynasty and passed away in 1987. His father, Zhang Guixiang, went to Southeast Asia to develop his business in 1900. In 1916, he brought Zhang Wendi and his brothers to Malaysia. Subsequently, father and son worked together to establish the business "Rui Xiang" and achieved success, thus becoming wealthy. Zhang Wendi returned to his hometown in 1933, intending to build a house for his parents. He personally supervised the construction, and the Western-style house was completed after two years. To ensure his elders could live out their remaining years in comfort, meticulous attention was paid to the overall structure, materials, and even the fine details of the decoration.
