Kinmen County Livestock Research Institute. The Kinmen County Livestock Research Institute was established in 1958, originally as the Kinmen County Horse Farm. It was renamed the Kinmen County Livestock Farm in 1979 and in 1985. The Kinmen County Livestock Research Institute was established in 1958, originally as the Kinmen County Horse Farm. It was renamed the Kinmen County Livestock Farm in 1979 and reorganized into the Kinmen County Livestock Research Institute in 1985. It is dedicated to the development of the local livestock industry and the production and sale of "Green Pasture" fresh milk. Since 2011, it has introduced Australian Braford cattle for breeding management and promotion, and continues to promote the local "Kinmen Distillery Residue Beef" business.
