Shichao Leisure Agriculture Area. Located in Shichao Village, Jiaoxi Township, the "Shichao Leisure Agriculture Area" covers nearly 300 hectares and boasts abundant agricultural and fishery resources. Among these, there are 138 hectares of farmland, 101 hectares of fish ponds, 6 hectares of wetlands, and 5 hectares of abandoned fish ponds. Located in Shichao Village, Jiaoxi Township, the "Shichao Leisure Agriculture Area" covers nearly 300 hectares and boasts abundant agricultural and fishery resources. Among these, there are 138 hectares of farmland, 101 hectares of fish ponds, 6 hectares of wetlands, and 5 hectares of abandoned fish ponds. The terrain is low-lying with numerous rivers and ditches, all equipped with gates, which is a distinctive feature of the area. Due to the un-cemented coastline, the area retains its original, natural ecosystem with complete vegetation. Situated in a tidal river section where fresh and saltwater mix, it is home to over 20 species of fish, shrimp, and shellfish, and serves as a wintering ground for numerous waterbirds, making it an excellent bird-watching spot. Records show up to 178 species have been observed, including rare visitors such as the Black-faced Spoonbill, Oriental Stork, Chinese Egret, and Greater White-fronted Goose!
