Wanglongpi, located in Zhenshan Village, Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, is adjacent to the back of Huxan Elementary School. It is a natural lake surrounded by mountains on three sides, also known as Ruanpi. This lake is said to have formed naturally a hundred years ago due to mountain floods and the accumulation of debris. The lake covers an area of about four to five hectares and is elongated in shape. The water level is closely related to rainfall, hence the name derived from the local old saying 'Wind follows the tiger, clouds follow the dragon,' with local elders praying for abundant rainfall and the well-being of the residents. Wanglongpi has long been an important water source for the daily lives and agricultural irrigation of the residents of Yuanshan Township, carrying the local reverence and gratitude for nature.
