Sanqinggong Daoist Temple. The head Taoist temple of Taiwan, on the hillside above Meihua Lake. Sanqing Temple, the head temple of Taiwanese Taoism, sits on the hillside of the Meihua Lake scenic area in Dongshan Township, Yilan County, about seven kilometres from downtown Luodong. It is easy to reach: walk about fifteen minutes along the Meihua Lake loop road, or drive up — the car park is large, making it a good trip by car.
