In 1926, the Japanese built the Kabashan Factory, the predecessor of the Daxi Tea Factory, thus beginning the glorious history of tea production in Daxi, making it the "new tea aristocrat" of the time. However, a devastating fire in 1956 almost completely destroyed the factory. Starting in 2010, Taiwan Sugar Corporation began reconstruction, and it was only then that the tea charm, hidden for half a century, was reborn before the world's eyes in a blend of old and new.
