Completed in 1989 at Hutou Mountain, it is the last officially established Confucian Temple in Taiwan. The most distinctive feature of the Taoyuan Confucian Temple is the presence of a standing statue of Confucius, unlike most other Confucian Temples which only have memorial tablets, making it of significant viewing value.
