Located in Sankeng Village, Longtan District, the bridge is named Red Bridge because it is entirely constructed of red bricks. This bridge was built in 1923, initiated by the residents of Daping and Sankeng Villages. With subsidies from the village office (district office), donations from villagers, and contributions from Japanese individuals, the Okura Group was responsible for its construction, using the same exposed brick material as the Taoyuan Canal project.
