Yakult, a household name, has been operating in Taiwan for over half a century. The Yakult factory relocated from Xinzhuang, Taipei to Zhongli, Taoyuan in 1999. In 2013, the factory was rebuilt on the same site. The current Zhongli new factory is a diversified modern factory that integrates green energy, environmental protection, and technology.
