Chaoyin Zen Temple. Chaoyin Zen Temple is located in Guansi Township, Hsinchu County. It has a history of one hundred years and is situated at the confluence of the Fengshan River and Niulan River basins. Through the arduous efforts and meticulous planning of successive generations of abbots, step by step, the temple has achieved its current comprehensive scale. Many esteemed elders and eminent monks from various mountains visit here, making it a significant center for Buddhist art. Due to the sixth abbot, Venerable Zhen Dun, being busy with Buddhist affairs in Thailand and unable to manage both locations, Master Wu Chan took over as the seventh abbot on December 16, 2007, under auspicious circumstances. After assuming the position, the Master dedicated himself to planning a better layout for the temple, purchasing land, paving roads, and constructing the Bridge to the Other Shore to facilitate passage for all devotees. A recreational trail was also designed along the riverbank, connecting to the upstream water park, forming a scenic attraction that enhances Guansi's tourism resources and promotes the atmosphere of Buddhist learning.
