Chike Mountain Trail. Chike Mountain, at an altitude of 454 meters, is located in Yushan Village, Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County. Chike Mountain is west of Yushan Community and is named for the abundant Chike trees on its peak. The Chike Mountain hiking trail takes approximately 3 hours to complete. The Yushan Tudigong Temple, located next to the trailhead, is a historic Grade III listed building over a century old. The trail offers pleasant scenery along the way, with birdsong and fragrant flowers. To the right, you can see the lush green Royal Kuanxi Golf Course. Near the third entrance, there is a two-story observation deck. Climbing to the viewing platform provides a wide vista of the surrounding green mountains, offering a sense of physical and mental relaxation. Afterward, you can observe Taiwan's only unique western landscape – the Asia Cement aerial tramway, watching it traverse the mountains carrying raw materials, which is also a distinctive sight.
