Daqidong Trail. The "Daqidong Ancient Trail" is located in the "Dashanbei" area (now Fengxiang Village) of Hengshan, Hsinchu. In the past, residents of Dashanbei used this mountain path to cross "Dashanbei Mountain". Every April and May, when the tung flowers are in full bloom, it attracts many people to admire the "May Snow." Near the mountaintop, a "Cherry Blossom Trail" planted with many Formosan cherry trees has been added in recent years, making the spring in "Daqidong" even more beautiful. Besides enjoying the flowers, visitors can overlook the vast scenery of the Youluo River, Shangping River below, and Zhudong and Hsinchu in the distance from the observation decks along the trail.
