Hidden in the Dashanbei of Hengshan, Yueyin Ajia Leisure Farm boasts a vast area, allowing visitors to feel the abundance of nature upon arrival. The farm's main focus is 'Three Teas, Five Senses Forest Healing.' The 'Three Teas' refer to the opportunity to taste or experience the making of 'Honey Black Tea,' 'Camellia Oil,' and 'Tea Tree Hydrosol' at the farm. Originally, this mountainous area was predominantly covered with tea trees. Looking around, the farm is mostly planted with native Taiwanese small-fruited camellia trees. After the camellia seeds ripen, they are harvested and pressed into camellia oil. The process of making camellia oil is intricate, yielding only 1 jin from 10 jin, making every drop precious and cherished. Another major highlight is the equally vast area of Australian tea trees. Visitors can also operate the distillation machine under Yueyin's guidance to turn harvested Australian tea tree leaves into essential oil and hydrosol. Yueyin explains that tea tree essential oil has antibacterial properties and can be applied to minor skin irritations. The hydrosol can be used as a toner, mouthwash, or mosquito repellent. Its natural, pesticide-free ingredients provide peace of mind for users. Adding fragrance with lemongrass or cinnamon grown on the farm, you can take home a bottle of your own handmade lotion, nourished by the good mountains and waters of Hengshan.
