With a history of over a century, the Fusha Daqi Trail in Hengshan Township was once the shortcut for Fuxing villagers to go to school and the market. It was also an ancient path paved with soil and wooden planks. A few years ago, a heavy rain caused a collapse near the section by Shaking Elementary School, making it difficult to traverse. Teachers at the school even DIY repaired it to facilitate students' commute and field trips. After careful planning and renovation, the Fusha Daqi Trail has a brand new look, evoking memories of the past for the villagers of Fuxing and Shaking. The trail winds along the ridgeline, with lush trees and rich ecology along the way, making it a great place for leisure hiking.
