Located in the Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County, in the Guanzihling area, the "Wild Horse View Mountain Forest Trail" is hidden within the Shei-Pa Leisure Farm. Located in the Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County, in the Guanzihling area, the "Wild Horse View Mountain Forest Trail" is hidden within the Shei-Pa Leisure Farm. It is a secluded hiking route that offers both natural scenery and a tranquil atmosphere. The trailhead is located within the farm, making the beginning of the trail easily accessible for both seasoned hikers and families. Starting from the Shei-Pa Farm's welcome building, after passing the Cloud Sea Coffee Shop, it takes about ten minutes to reach the summit of Wild Horse View Mountain at an altitude of approximately 2,000 meters. Here, there is a well-maintained third-class triangulation point and four directional markers. Although the elevation is not high, it offers an excellent view. In winter, you may have the chance to admire the "Seven Scenic Views of Shei-Pa": sunrise, sunset glow, sea of clouds, mountain scenery, mist, rain, and starry sky, making it a place you won't want to leave. Following the viewing platform behind the summit, you can connect to a circular forest trail with tree trunk markers numbered 1 to 40 along the way. Walking on the soft carpet of fallen fir needles, you'll pass by charred wood and old logging remnants. Two viewing spots along the way offer panoramic views of Wuzhi Mountain, E'gongji Mountain, the Leshan Radar Station, and the entire farm. The views are expansive and refreshing. In addition to hiking and sightseeing, after descending, you can also experience fruit picking and flower viewing within the farm, or visit the nearby Guanzihling National Forest Recreation Area to continue enjoying the mountain scenery.
