Xinpu Guanghe Temple. Located in Xinpu Township, Hsinchu County, Xinpu Guanghe Temple is locally known as "Wangye Temple", but it does not enshrine deities like the Five Lords (Wufu Qiansui) but primarily worships the Three Mountain Kings. Located in Xinpu Township, Hsinchu County, Xinpu Guanghe Temple is locally known as "Wangye Temple", but it does not enshrine deities like the Five Lords (Wufu Qiansui) but primarily worships the Three Mountain Kings, as Hakka people refer to the Three Mountain Kings as "Wangye" (Lord). Since the Three Mountain Kings are a unique Hakka belief, Hakka people brought this faith to Taiwan after migrating and settling. Therefore, Guanghe Temple is also the center of faith for the Hakka people in the Xinpu area and one of the renowned temples in the region. The most significant feature of Guanghe Temple is the "paired craftsmanship" in its architecture, similar to Wanhui Temple in Wandan Township, Pingtung County. This means that the wooden carvings on the left and right sides are executed by two different teams of craftsmen, divided by the central axis. Consequently, the hanging pillars, bracket arms, and lion bases on the left and right sides are slightly different, indicating they were created by different artisans.
