Xinpu Baozhongting Yimin Temple. The Yimin Temple faces south and is built against the mountain, backed by the Dianzihu Terrace, facing the Fengshan River valley plain. It is low in the front and high in the back, with flanking formations, creating a magnificent and natural setting. Legend has it that the location of the Yimin Tomb is one of the three major auspicious sites in the Fengshan River basin, known as the 'Sleeping Bull's Earth Vein,' an area of excellent feng shui. The area in front of the Yimin Temple is vast, including the temple itself and a large temple square. Behind the temple are the Yimin Tomb, attached tombs, and extensive surrounding gardens, making it an important recreational destination in the county. The temple's architectural scale is 'two halls, two corridors, two side rooms,' likely the result of renovations in 1904 (Meiji 37). The San Chuan Hall has a five-bay facade, with the central three bays recessed to form a porch. The archway features exquisite wood and stone carvings. The main hall enshrines the divine tablet of 'Baoshan Yidong Baoshan Yimin' in the center. Above, a small room is created in the center of the transom window for the imperial edict tablet, and the imperial 'Baoshan' plaque hangs on the longevity beams, all of which are important cultural relics of the temple. The main hall is flanked by San Shan Guowang, Guanyin Niang, and Wugu Ye. The right shrine houses the longevity tablets of Fude Zhengshen, Dai Yuanjiu Gong, and Kaishan Shami Kaizhiwu Chan Shi. Between the San Chuan Hall and the main hall is a courtyard, with a rain canopy added to increase the space for worship. The corridors on both sides of the courtyard are three bays wide and two bays deep. The rear of the central bay is separated by a screen to form a shrine. The dragon side enshrines the founders who contributed to the temple.
