Located in the bustling downtown area, Xiansheng Temple boasts a majestic appearance and grand halls. At the entrance, there are two antique archways. Passing through the archways and standing in the spacious temple courtyard, one can see concrete houses on both sides. The stage is situated between the two archways, serving as a venue for entertaining deities and people during celebrations. In front of the Sanchuanmen (main entrance), a pair of stone lions stand guard. Ascending to the front corridor of the Sanchuan Hall, the walls on both sides are adorned with meticulously carved stone art by skilled artisans. Stepping over the threshold and entering the Sanchuan Hall, this is where devotees make their initial prayers. Looking towards the central courtyard, the interplay of light and shadow makes the main hall appear even more profound and mysterious, solemn and dignified. The left side hall houses the administrative office, and along with the right side hall, they enshrine Yue Fei, Bao Gong, and the spiritual tablets of devout followers, respectively. Turning left past the side hall and facing the main hall, one is struck by its splendor and magnificence, everywhere reflecting meticulous care and solemnity. The main deity enshrined is the Holy Mother (Shengmu Zun), with the Goddess of Childbirth (Zhusheng Niangniang) on the left and the Mysterious Lady of the Nine Heavens (Jiutian Xuan Nü) on the right. On the second floor, Guanyin Buddha is the main deity, accompanied by Emperor Guan (Guandi) and Confucius, with simple and unadorned furnishings. Xiansheng Temple designates the 23rd day of the third lunar month each year as the birthday celebration of the Holy Mother, which is organized in rotation by devotees from the four townships within its jurisdiction.
