Among these, Guansi Township has the largest grass jelly cultivation area in Taiwan. Coupled with technical guidance from the Taoyuan Agricultural Improvement Station, processing methods are continuously improved, and a diverse range of grass jelly products are developed, transforming and upgrading the traditional industry. Grass jelly is a native Taiwanese plant that resembles mint leaves, small and emerald green with a slight fuzz. It is planted from March to April each year and harvested after maturing in September to October.
