Bulaoju offers indigenous hunting explanations and environmental tours, where authentic Atayal hunters personally introduce ancestral hunting tools and mountain wisdom. Additionally, it offers many indigenous specialty dishes, Yunnan cuisine, and a whole lamb feast available only in winter, allowing visitors to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. In the past, when the tribe went hunting in the mountains, they would use bamboo sourced locally to cook rice, which was the most convenient and natural cooking method. It wasn't just rice they were eating, but a trace of life left by their ancestors. Bulaoju Leisure Farm, dedicated to developing bamboo rice, also has bamboo rice gift boxes that are very popular. Each gift box contains six bamboo rice tubes with three flavors: savory, millet, and coconut. In 2013, it was honored as one of the top five indigenous specialty gifts in Jianshi Township.
