This 'disconnected' journey, however, sharpens your senses to the breath of nature and marks the beginning of Dadi Farm's journey to heal body and mind. Dadi Farm, centered around the Japanese concepts of 'Sansei' (ecology, production, and life) and 'Satoyama,' promotes the philosophy of natural sustainability and coexistence between humans and the land. It is not just a farm, but an ecological classroom integrating settlements, farmlands, forests, and water bodies. The farm owners are dedicated to environmental education and understory economy, engaging in afforestation, seedling cultivation, seed preservation, and refined agricultural production to create a natural space that combines wellness, leisure, and healing. Currently, the farm cultivates Taiwan incense-cedar on 49 hectares, having received the National Zonal Afforestation Special Award, with a total afforestation area exceeding 8.1 hectares. The park features: Cherry Blossom Valley, Bald Cypress Trail, Chinese Hackberry Trail, Jurassic Park, Butterfly Corridor, Camellia Manor, Camphor and Fir House, Sheep Pen, Water Chestnut Lake, Water Reflection Terraces, Camellia Oil Green Hill, and Sound and Sight Forest of Taiwan Michelia. From January when white plum blossoms bloom, to February when mountain cherry blossoms turn red, and November when bald cypress trees change color, the farm offers different scenery in every season, waiting for travelers to explore. During the firefly season from April to May, swarms of fireflies dance among the trees, as if illuminating the summer night.
