The simple Guansi Old Street, not far from the tung blossom viewing spots, has many interesting people and things waiting for visitors to explore. A must-visit is the Niulan River Riverside Park, featuring the Dong'an Ancient Bridge, built in the 8th year of the Showa era in Japan (1933) and located on Zhongshan East Road in Guansi. Upon arriving in the small town, walk down the path towards the bridge to get a full view of the Dong'an Ancient Bridge. The Niulan River, which the Dong'an Ancient Bridge spans, got its name because farmers used to bring their cattle here to drink and bathe in the past. Although cattle no longer roam here, the "Niulan River Riverside Park" created by the county government is well-developed. Egrets can often be seen hunting and resting on the river surface, while fish swim below. The flat, rustic riverside path attracts many couples and sports enthusiasts for strolls along the riverbank every day. Visiting in spring, the banks are also covered with delicate pink ornamental cherry trees, making for a romantic flower viewing and photo opportunity! Strolling along the riverside path, listening to the sound of the water and feeling the gentle breeze is very relaxing, making it a truly therapeutic spot. After enjoying the Niulan River Riverside Park, you can explore the historic Guansi town.
