Here lies a Celtis forest park (Fengkeng Park), designated as the "Centennial Celtis Forest Conservation Area." Celtis trees are found in low-altitude and coastal areas throughout Taiwan and were historically used as windbreak trees. However, they have significantly decreased due to logging. The cluster of Celtis trees in Fengkeng Village is now the largest on the west coast. The scenery of Fengkeng Village is antique and charming, with traditional three-section houses nestled among the Celtis trees. The inscription above the main entrance reads "Tianshui Hall," and the owners of the old houses share the same ancestors as the Jiang family of Beipu. Almost all residents of this village are surnamed Jiang, hence the local name "Jiangcuo." The ancient, two-section buildings carry the family history and are one of the starting points of Hakka culture in northern Taiwan.
