Many cherry trees are planted along the platform and tracks of Hengshan Station. During cherry blossom season, they attract many tourists for photos. Outside of the cherry blossom season, the lush greenery, combined with the passing of painted trains, allows visitors to take beautiful photos without being disturbed by other tourists. A short trip to Hengshan begins at the station. After taking photos, you can explore the street in front of the station for food and drinks. This street features a specialty shop selling herbal tea and an old noodle shop that has been in business for decades.
