On the short Guanxi Shidianzi Old Street, several specialty shops are hidden, and "Da Zi Zai Studio" is one of them. This studio sells various handmade plant-dyed products and offers interesting plant dyeing courses such as indigo dyeing, painting dyeing, and flower and leaf transfer dyeing. Stepping into the studio, the space constructed with woodwork and wooden furniture exudes a warm atmosphere and a strong rustic charm. The plant-dyed products in the store are all made from natural materials. For example, scarves come in different materials such as indigo-dyed scarves, shell ginger dyed scarves, and unique flower and leaf transfer dyed scarves. The combination of materials and dyeing techniques creates different visual effects, making each piece unique. In addition, the store offers a variety of bag styles with corresponding dyeing techniques. For instance, the limited edition coffee burlap bag is made from raw coffee bean burlap bags, which require time-consuming and labor-intensive pre-treatment processes such as washing and boiling to remove dirt and rough textures. Combined with indigo dyeing and flower and leaf transfer dyeing, it is not only distinctive but also very environmentally friendly. In addition to selling plant-dyed series products, Da Zi Zai Studio currently offers three experience courses: "Diospyros Kaki Sap Painting Dyeing," "Indigo Dyeing," and "Flower and Leaf Transfer Dyeing." The fees vary depending on the material and size of the fabric, with prices ranging from 250 to 1,200 TWD.
