Located in Yufeng Village, Jianshi Township, Eagle Creek Trail is a very popular tourist attraction in recent years. Walking into the trail, surrounded by lush forests, with the sound of flowing water and various insect chirps and bird songs, makes one instantly forget their worries. The sides are lined with dense forests and rich ecosystems. The entire trail is not long, and although there are occasional steep slopes, most sections are paved and easy to walk, making it very accessible. Along the way, you will pass two arch bridges made of bamboo, which not only have an Atayal tribal style but also add to the trail's charm. The latter half features a wooden boardwalk built along the mountain wall, a fish-viewing pavilion, Eagle Rock, and numerous small waterfalls along the route. Reaching the final destination, Lipu Waterfall, you'll feel a refreshing breeze, which is incredibly cool and refreshing. Here, you can also witness the unique sight of Formosan Channa, known as the "firefly of the water," shimmering in the water. The rich ecosystem and magnificent natural scenery make this one of the most beautiful hidden gems in Jianshi Township. It is recommended to enjoy a forest bath at Eagle Creek Trail first, and then return to Asahi Hot Spring for a soak, allowing both body and mind to experience the baptism and relaxation of nature.
