Zhubei Coastal Forest Reserve. A 400-meter-long coastal primeval forest located at the northwestern tip of Zhubei, covering an area of approximately 2 hectares. Research indicates that this forest formed from sand dunes accumulated by the coast, evolving into a primeval forest over many years of plant succession. Elevated boardwalks have been constructed within the forest to allow visitors to appreciate the primeval forest while also protecting it from damage.
