Xinpu Ancestral Hall Hakka Culture Museum. Xinpu Ancestral Hall Hakka Culture Museum was originally the dormitory for successive principals of Xinpu Elementary School during the Japanese occupation era, and it is the only Japanese-style dormitory in Xinpu Township. Xinpu Ancestral Hall Hakka Culture Museum was originally the dormitory for successive principals of Xinpu Elementary School during the Japanese occupation era, and it is the only Japanese-style dormitory in Xinpu Township. Historical research indicates that this dormitory was built 10 years before the Republic of China, constructed by the Japanese government at the time for the use of successive principals of Xinpu Elementary School. The dormitory covers an area of approximately 25 square meters and was built during the Japanese colonial period. Its structure includes both timber framing and RC (reinforced concrete), making it over a hundred years old. After being organized and restored in 2012, it became the current Ancestral Hall Museum.
