Traditional sloped roofs, wine jars, and bamboo weaving decorations create a rich cultural atmosphere, making it a popular spot for travelers to take photos. Its outdoor dining area is a major highlight, situated under Tung trees. In late spring, around April and May, the Tung flowers bloom like falling snow, complementing the Hakka cuisine before your eyes, making you feel as if you are in a painting of the mountains, with a calm body and mind. The name Xiexin Tea House comes from "When the restless mind ceases, cessation is Bodhi," hoping that travelers can let go of their worries here and rest for a moment, experiencing the artistic conception of "When the mind is calm, the tea's fragrance travels far." The location was originally Shishan Elementary School. With the establishment of the San-Yi-San National Scenic Area Administration in 2001, the school campus was re-planned and revitalized as the "Shitoushan Visitor Service Center," becoming an important node connecting natural ecology and human history. The tea house was converted from the original teachers' dormitory, retaining the original sloped roof and simple structure, and reshaping the space with natural textured building materials, presenting a simple, warm, and Hakka-spirited architectural aesthetic.
