Located fifty meters above the Taoshan Village suspension bridge, before becoming a popular filming location for dramas, it was a temporary residence where the renowned writer San Mao sought inspiration. This red brick and wood house has now become a tourist attraction displaying San Mao's works and photographs. Along the path, there are signs with excerpts from San Mao's writings, guiding fans into the base of San Mao's stories. When you get tired from walking, head to the outdoor dining area, choose a seat where the drama's protagonists Cheng Nuo and Tian Qing once sat, and admire the mountain and forest scenery of Wufeng, letting your mind wander and relax. San Mao once said, "Silence is nature's hush, being alone, but not lonely." Although her life was filled with loneliness, her writings and her harmonious coexistence with nature have left countless beautiful poems in these mountains and forests. Today, San Mao's former residence has become "San Mao's Dream House," a pilgrimage site for literature lovers. Currently, "San Mao's Dream House" displays much historical and literary material from San Mao's life, as well as photographs of her taken by Father Ding Songqing. Standing before the red brick house, one unconsciously travels back in time, letting thoughts drift with San Mao, feeling the beautiful sighs that fell between the overlaps of time and space.
