The center offers tourist information, guided tours, and multimedia presentations, as well as Lei Cha (thunder tea) experiences for visitors to learn about different tea-drinking cultures. Adjacent to the center, the 'Xiexin Teahouse,' originally the teachers' dormitory, has been renovated into a resting space for enjoying Hakka tea snacks. During April and May, the tung oil flowers to the left of the teahouse bloom beautifully, scattering in the wind like snow, creating a romantic atmosphere. This center was established in July 2001 (Republic of China Year 90), with its main building originally being the campus of 'Shishan Elementary School.' The center revitalizes the abandoned Shishan Elementary School, maintaining the unique rustic feel of Hakka culture and providing tourism-related services. The center is divided into: Audiovisual Room: With 44 seats, it is usually used for visitors to watch multimedia films and serves as a venue for lectures and special talks. Visitor Center: Provides relevant brochures, introductions to townships in the jurisdiction, and displays of scenic spot photos. Shishan Classroom: This classroom introduces surrounding trails and serves as a resting area for visitors.
