In the early days, the fishing harbor had no official name; locals called it "the seaside of Potou Village." Small and medium-sized fishing boats and rafts are docked by the harbor. Whenever fishing boats return to port, savvy gourmands and vendors eagerly select fresh catches. To the north of Potou Fishing Harbor, several stone weirs, approximately a century old, are preserved along the coast. These square-shaped stone walls utilize the water level difference during tides to guide fish into them, a testament to the wisdom of our ancestors. Connecting from Xinfeng's Potou Fishing Harbor to Zhubei's Crescent Bay, the coastline stretches for 12 kilometers. Coupled with the surrounding tourism and cultural resources, the area has been transformed into a coastal leisure and recreation destination, with a redevelopment plan incorporating wetland natural elements.
