Located next to Beipu Old Street, Nanpu Community boasts beautiful mountains and waters, with picturesque scenery, earning it the nickname 'Golden Water Township.' Many residents in the community have been farming for generations, maintaining a simple rural lifestyle. Upon arriving in Nanpu Village, the first thing you'll see is a red steel beam bridge. The bridge's structure resembles the Arabic numeral 100 and is also known as the '100-Point Bridge,' a lucky spot for many students taking exams. Next, you'll pass the historic 'Washing Pavilion,' where a water channel and washing stones are located beneath the pavilion, and residents still wash their clothes here today. Continuing onward, you'll soon see the 'Stone Grandpa' (Shi Ye Gong), and next to it is the important spiritual center for Nanpu residents—Nanchang Temple. The entrance to the 'Tiao Shui Li Trail' is located along the path between the fields opposite the temple. At the entrance, there is a stone table and chairs that can serve as a landmark. The Tiao Shui Li Trail is at an altitude of about 100 meters, with a stream running through the area. Stepping onto the Tiao Shui Li Trail, you'll see lush green rice paddies stretching out before you. If you happen to visit during the harvest season, it will be a golden landscape, with heavy ears of rice swaying in the wind, creating waves of golden scenery that are breathtaking. You can also gaze at famous mountains like Mount E'gongji and Mount Wuzhi. Although the Tiao Shui Li Trail is not long, the scenery offers plenty of variety. Before long, the surrounding landscape transforms from a healing rural vista to a dense, verdant forest. Be mindful of your footing.
