During the tung blossom season in April and May each year, the tung blossoms fall like snow, covering the trail, creating another kind of charm. Strolling along Guanyin Trail, you can discover diverse forest landscapes, transitioning from tung and broad-leaved forests to bamboo forests. The entire path is shaded by trees, with a cool and pleasant temperature. Along the way, you'll pass a pavilion where you can rest. Although surrounded by green forests with no distant views, a gentle breeze blows, soothing the heat from visitors' exercise. Continuing forward, you will reach an observation deck, where the stone-paved trail ends. To see the century-old waterwheel, you need to walk back to County Road 45 from a nearby stone staircase, then follow the signs for "Shuitou Hetou Bogong." Along the way, you'll see lush green rice fields before reaching the small stone shrine of "Shuitou Hetou Bogong," which enshrines "Shuitou Bogong" and "Hetou Bogong." It is one of the traditional belief centers for villagers, showcasing the cultural heritage of Hakka ancestors' reverence for heaven and earth. Following a small path nearby, you can see the Nanpu Canal, built in 1845, which is over a hundred years old and one of the most important water conservancy facilities in the area.
