It also offers a traditional hand-cranked winnowing machine, over thirty years old, for visitors to experience life as people did in ancient times. The site also includes a direct sales store for farmers, offering agricultural products from small farmers in Qionglin Township and Hsinchu County. Within the site, there are also a non-toxic vegetable garden, a raised herb garden, and a succulent plant area, all established through green care station courses, to enhance visitors' sensory experiences. The agri-food experience program focuses on rice, allowing visitors to understand its structure and characteristics. Supplemented by the historical background of Qionglin Gongmi (tribute rice), it helps visitors appreciate the efforts of their ancestors to secure a full meal, thereby encouraging those who choose not to eat rice for various reasons today to cherish every grain of white rice on their plates.
