Natural Rock Cave and Dripping Waterfalls Shuilian Cave is the largest natural rock cave in Shitoushan, with a unique topography that is breathtaking. The protruding rocks resemble eaves, forming natural shade, and the cave entrance is adorned with dense vines, as if draping a veil of green gauze over the rocks. Spring water from above cascades or drips from the cliff face, flowing down the rock walls to form several thin curtains of water at the cave entrance, adding a dynamic beauty to this cavern, which is also the origin of its name. A Place of Tranquility with Resonant Chants Beneath the cave sits a unique temple – Fanyin Temple, its name derived from the murmuring sound of the surrounding flowing water, like distant Buddhist chants echoing within the temple, creating a serene Zen atmosphere.
