In April and May, during the tung blossom season, this place transforms into a beautiful world covered in white snow. Delicate white tung blossoms bloom on treetops, dance in the wind, and carpet the ground, creating a dreamlike and ethereal scene. Do not doubt, this is the four-season charm of the "Tiaotan Ancient Trail." Now, let us explore this enchanting green tunnel together! The Tiaotan Ancient Trail is located in Shuanghu Village, Sanyi Township, which is now known as the "Santongling Ancient Trail." It was an important communication route between Tongxiao Township and Sanyi Township in earlier times. The Tiaotan Ancient Trail is 5 kilometers long, extending from Fuxing Mountain in Tongxiao to Santongling, and then from Dakeng and Shikeng in Sanyi to Sanyi Railway Station. Along the way, there are well-preserved acacia forests, camphor trees, nanmu trees, tung trees, and native tree species. The forest scenery is beautiful, and the air is fresh. A walk along this winding ancient mountain trail is a forest bath full of phytonides. After reaching Santongling along the ancient trail, you will see an open platform with excellent views, where the surrounding scenery is clearly visible.
