Master Fuhui specialized in the practice of the Great Compassion Dharma, and her "Great Compassion Water" was renowned far and wide. It was believed that sincere prayers could cure all illnesses. Daxingshan Temple is surrounded by a serene environment, with bamboo groves and lush trees. The main hall enshrines the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion (Namo Guanyin Bodhisattva). Although the temple is simple and unadorned, it is always bustling with worshippers, whose faith spans across Taiwan. On holidays, long queues of vehicles can be seen lining up to visit the temple. During the birthdays of various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the temple offers sweet rice balls, noodles, and vegetarian rice as a blessing to welcome everyone back to the temple and share in the joy of Dharma.
